Guide to my photos.The main subject in my photo is a purple flower which stands out on a blurred green background. I took this picture because I thought the flower looked really bright and it was really vibrant compared to the leaves and vines behind it. I had a feeling it would turn in to a really pretty picture. This photo means something because I like the look or flowers and I think that flowers can make everybody smile. This is one of the first photos I have taken which I am really proud of. The photo focuses the attention to the main subject by having the leaves and vines blurred in the background. The camera had focused on the flower which made it stand out better than the rest of the image. The picture works because the lines have came out really strong and it shows clearly the separation of the background and main subject. The colours in the photo are also good in the element of design as the greens and purples have come out bright and really eye catching. The texture in the photo is mostly soft but the texture on the flower is more sharp. This photo could be improved if there weren't lines of light in the background and it was all just a vibrant picture.
I asked Kim for feedback on my photo and she said, ''the main subject in the photo is nice and vibrant and really stands out but I think the image could be improved by maybe zooming out a little''. I am happy with this feedback as it has given me notes for when I next take photos.
I feel that my photo is a pretty good photo and isn't that different to professional photos. Both mine and the professional photo have the main subject in the image strongly focused on and the background is blurred. Both images are close ups and they have been taken from an angle. I feel that I have taken a good photo in which captures the true reason for the image.
